Airfix 01013B de Havilland DH.88 Comet Racer Red 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit
Availability: Out of stock
- One of the most prestigious air races of its day, the MacRobertson England to Australia air race of 1934 was contested by three DH.88 Comet aircraft, with G-ACSP (named Black Magic) being the first to take off. Unfortunately engine problems curtailed its involvement while its sister machine (named Grosvenor House) won the race. G-ACSR also suffered reliability issues during the race, but its high speed still enabled it to finish in fourth position.
- This finely detailed plastic model kit requires assembly and painting.
